Indian language

We took the rental car back and drove on down towards Missoula. We passed the Flathead Lake which was again fantastic – enormous, about the size of Lake Como, with little islands in the middle. Unfortunately it was raining and we didn’t get quite such a good view as we could have with better weather. Halfway to Missoula we saw a sign for the National Bison reserve and decided to go and see it. It was well worth the trip. It was a drive which lasts about two hours (if you’re not driving an RV – then it takes much longer) you see lots of bison (of course) but also elks and many different kinds of deer and antelopes, e.g. whitetail deer, pronghorn antelopes etc. All along the road the road signs are bilingual - English and some Indian language – the Salish-Kootenai.
